When we start our search for the pretty dress for our daughter, we try to buy the best. For, many parents, buying the best dress for girls is buying the most fashionable. However, this is not the right approach. Although I agree with the common practice of following the fashion trend but it should be done keeping in mind the personal and physical parameters of the user.
Today, we come across many platforms and sources that inform us about the latest arrivals, trends and fashions. Most of these presentations seem attractive. But we forget that these dresses are being represented by the models having perfect physical structure that may be different from the girl for whom we are buying the dresses. So, does it mean that we should not follow the fashion trend? Can we afford to keep our little daughter refrain from the fashion?
The answer from most parents will come in- NO. Height, color, shape of different body parts, occasion, time, season and the role at the function etc are the primary factors that decide suitability of dresses for girls. Therefore, it is not necessary that the costliest and most fashionable dress from a leading brand will suit to your daughter.
Fashion designers know well which type of shape; design; fabric and color suit to specific type of physical structure. They never suggest only the latest; instead they suggest what suits the most. Reputed and leading stores, like my company, offer free consultancy to their buyers. To get right opinion, tell them your parameters like budget, occasion, purpose and special liking if any. Some parents don't involve their little angels in selection process, which is not a healthy practice. What is the use of fashionable and costly dress, if the child is not happy with that? Never force the child to select, which she does not like. If you have budget problem, tell her the fact. Alternatively, you can try on the stores that organize discount sales.
Today fashion changes too soon, therefore buying and storing the dresses in a storewell is not a good practice. Instead of buying three or four dresses at one time, it is better to buy one or two at the fall of new seasons. A latest trendy and fashionable dress for girl bought in summer season may not be perfect for spring or winter season. Dresses of some fabrics can be used in all seasons while some dresses are designed only for particular seasons.
Whatsoever girls dress you buy, do not compromise with the comfort of your daughter. Make the buying process an exciting activity not a task.
